Consciousness Shifting - Shift of the day - Tuesday November 4, 2008
The Consciousness Shifting theme for this week is habits. Habits are those things we do or choose unconsciously. When we are in a habit we are not in the moment. It’s like being on automatic pilot. There are many different types of habits; the habit of drinking coffee every morning is one type of habit and there are the habits you may not be aware of too. We have 3 sources of power, our time, money and energy and they are always moving in the same direction.
Today’s shift says:
Habits take your energy in a couple of ways. It takes a lot of energy to keep a habit in place, if you are someone who has a habit of avoiding certain things or people in your life you use a tremendous amount of energy in that avoidance behavior. What if you chose instead to eliminate those people or things you are avoiding or to handle them? How much energy would you free up to focus on other things?
