A Word From Karen
In December, 2002, my husband Peter transitioned after a short illness. I felt paralyzed by the loss, and was both unwilling and unable to go back into the corporate world and continue coaching and working the way I had in the past. I had a sense of something better, a better way to be in the world and I knew there was something I could connect with that would support this outcome and that it would eventually show up. I did not know what it was but I could feel it coming.
During a period of introspection and quiet meditative time, I began to source Consciousness Shifting and began testing it and sharing it with others. When I look back on the changes that have occurred in my life since Peter’s transition, it is difficult to comprehend the place I was in before beginning.
I am eternally grateful to Thomas Leonard, the father of today’s coaching movement, for all he taught me and for his incredible insight shared during the Absence of You program he offered. I am also grateful to the hundreds of coaching clients who have been served by the evolution of this work and have provided a rich environment from which we have been able to learn. I am very grateful for the presence of Perenna Fleming, Sally Riggs and the Mastery level practitioners of the Rockit method. Your contribution to my life and this work is invaluable.
