Our consciousness shifting theme this week is your physical well-being.
Your physical environment, (internal) is influenced by many factors. There’s a saying; you are what you eat. There seems to be an interesting correlation between the things we choose to eat and the impact many of these choices have on our external environment, our planet! Are we mirroring the escalating pollution on this planet by choosing foods that impact our internal environment, balance and well-being?
Today’s shift says:
Notice how you feel after you consume certain foods. For example when I eat wheat I notice my energy level drops significantly. Obviously this is not the best choice for me. You may find the elimination of wheat in your diet to be a good idea too, check this article out! http://tinyurl.com/2hgzez When I substitute wheat for an ancient whole grain like spelt, I do not have the same reaction. We can now get pastas and breads that are made with ancient grains like spelt and kamut that have not been altered in the way wheat has been.

Avoid foods with high fructose corn syrup, it may contain mercury and there are other reasons too! (learn why here: http://tinyurl.com/cczdky) Be sure you read labels because high fructose corn syrup is in everything from candy to pickles, jams and soda and lots of other places in between! You will be surprised! Oh, the way it’s made and the impact to our planet further anchor support of this change! So when you make a decision to eliminate this one thing from your diet you’re helping yourself and the planet.
