Consciousness Shifting - Shift of the day - Monday August 11, 2008
Our consciousness shifting theme this week is Loss.
Loss is defined as no longer having something, or having less of something. It is also defined as a feeling of sadness, loneliness or emptiness at the absence of somebody or something. If someone dies, we lose connection with the physical essence of who they are. If we misplace something, we lose that item that may or may not have been important to us. Recently my home was broken into and in insurance terms I sustained a loss. I have been thinking about loss a lot lately. What if loss is an illusion?
Today’s shift says:
If you are looking on the outside for something that’s lost or missing, you’re not getting that you’re whole and complete and nothing is missing! This habit of external reference takes you away from the present moment where nothing is missing. Look within… go within, or you’ll go without, and that’s just not necessary!
