Consciousness Shifting - Shift of the day - Tuesday September 16, 2008

Our consciousness shifting theme this week is noticing the habit of assuming.

Recently I was speaking with a man who had made an assumption about me and my motivation for a choice I was making. Instead of picking up the phone and calling me to say what’s up with that, he began mounting his make wrong evidence. I tend to be very sensitive to energy and know when negativity is directed my way. While I attempted to have a conversation to clear the air, this person kept escalating the story. The point is we never really know what’s going on with another person, and if we don’t check in to find out…we end up living and being in an incorrect frame.

Today’s shift says:

What are you assuming about the people you are in relationship with? When you catch yourself making assumptions about others, ask this simple question: "How do I know this is true?" This one shift in attitude will open a full realm of new possibility.
